quick 2010 recap: 20 for 2010

1. What did you do in 2010 that you had never done before?

       Travelled with a baby. Not my favorite thing to do ever. 

2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions and will you make more for next year?

       Nope, I don't make them. See below post?

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

       Meredith had precious, sweet Slade!

4. Did anyone close to you die?
       Not this year, thank the good Lord for that! We had 2 bam! bam! last year, so we got a break.
5. What places have you visited?
       We went to Port Aransas, and to Walt Disney World in September. 
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
       Gumption.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched in your memory and why?
       Sept, 14. The day I "met" two of the sweetest friends I have!
8. What was your biggest achievement this year?
       Gah. 2010 wasn't a great year for me. I got my house moved into completely. 
9. Did you suffer illness or injury?
       I've messed my back up pretty good a few times, had a scare at the Ob/Gyn... but am good now. Oh, and I cut myself pretty badly on glass about a month ago?
10. What was the best thing you bought?
       Toss up between our entertainment system and our Blu-Ray player.  
11. Where did most of your money go?
       Our mortgage! And Zach's astronomical student loans. Diapers. *exciting*
12. What song will always remind you of 2010?
       Probably something by Katy Perry- Teenage Dream?
13. What do you wish you would have done more of?
       Seizing the moment and accomplishing something. 
14. What do you wish you would have done less of?
       Sitting on my arse.
15. What was your favorite TV program?
       Doctor Who. Best season YET!
16. What was the best book you read this year?
       The 10 Sookie Stackhouse novels? And Michael Crichton's Pirate Latitudes. Oh, and I re-read all of Jane Austen's works (Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, Emma, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, Lady Susan) and they're all wonderful, but it wasn't my first time reading them.
17. What was your favorite film of the year?
       If you'd have asked me about 10 days ago, I'd have probably said The Wolfman. But then I saw Inception and my mind was quite literally blown. It may be one of my all time favorite movies. Which says a LOT for the film because I am not a fan of the Leo.
18. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
       I turned the big quarter century. I spent my 25th birthday at Disney's Animal Kingdom with my hubster. He took me to Disney World for my birthday and it was the best ever.
19. What political issue stirred you the most?
       I'm sorry, that's really none of your business. I was always taught genteel Southern ladies don't discuss politics. You'd never guess/ never believe it anyway.
20. Who was the best new person you met?

       The aforementioned Ashley Brooke and Betsy. I adore these two girls and wish we lived closer together. They're just spectacular.
