christmas recap: the 24th

Christmas Eve, as per usual, was spent with Zach's mom's side of the family--

and Christmas with the Kennedys is always a blast.






Every year the host finds someone to play Santa a way to have Santa make a personal visit to our kiddos. Santa's a really, really, REALLY big deal.

He's been giving the Kennedy family personal visits since my Mr. can remember. Liam was not really keen on Santa once he stood back and got a good look at him.

But the other kids sure were!

Christmas puts J in his element:

The kids in this family are not at ALL spoiled. Ha.

My favorite cousin & his trash bag: he is SUCH a good uncle!

Christmas eve, Liam didn't take a nap because we headed over to J & J's house at 2:45-- right at naptime. So he was pretty exhausted by the time we all sat down to open presents.

(to his credit: he played hard with Aiden all afternoon)

Once he got a hold of his present from Aunt V, he was done for. He started out propped up on me, slumped over, and then drifted off to sleep, pillow pal and scentsy buddy in hand.

Christmas Eve was wonderful, full of family and fun. We are so incredibly lucky to have a family that loves to spend time together! Liam drifted off to sleep with little problem after we got home, thankfully, and Santa was able to make his visit without little fingers and toes in his way...
