I (am so excited) have an appointment tomorrow to get my nails done. NO Solar Nails for me- I was inspired by Betsy to try OPI's Axxium Gel nails.
I also have to go get my jumpsuit for the wedding tomorrow afternoon.
I also have one of the ladies from The Perfect Face coming on Saturday to make me pretty for the wedding...
So here's my question:
Who do I tip, and who don't I tip?

I always tip the nail lady- but they won't be doing as much work on my nails as they do with the Solar Nails. I will tip, but how much is enough?
I don't think I need to tip the seamstress- after all, I am paying her to do the alterations. Thoughts?
The makeup lady... this is the one I'm stumped on. I'm paying them to come and do my hair and makeup. I'm paying a little bit extra for the "driving distance." Okay, a dollar extra. Um. Do I tip? I don't know. I think we tipped them when they did the hair and makeup for my wedding... but they did me and my girls and the mommas. If I tip- how much? Help?
I have to say: typically, I am a wiz with this stuff. I have a very strict code: If I am a regular patron of a restaurant, I typically tip fairly well. If I'm not a regular patron, and the service is good, I tip well. If the service is mediocre, I don't tip very well- but I always tip.
I always tip Steve, my hair stylist, very, very generously. The power is in his hands- he can make me or break me, hair wise. I always tip him like the champ he is.
What do you think, oh readers of mine? Who do I tip? Who don't I tip? How much do I tip?

5 kind words:
Tip the nail ladies, I always do two or three dollars, don't tip the seamstress, and tip the hair people (like maybe 10% or so), they do have the ability to make you more beautiful :-). Love you!!!!!
I agree with Ashley.. Just a couple bucks for nail people and a little for hair and make up no on seamstress
agreed with above. :)
Just to let you know - we did NOT tip the makeup and hair people for your wedding because we paid them $1,600+ so I think they were paid well - ha! But it's up to you and I agree with everyone else - about $3-4 for the nail lady. I always tip Nancy/Tammy $5, but I've been going to her for 9 years. I want to see you all ready to go - you are going to look extra beautiful.
$5 nails
$0 seamstress
10-15% on makeup
