I would like to thank all of you who inquired about my father-in-law today.

Roger went in for surgery to remove a cancerous tumor on his liver. They were unable to cut the tumor out, so the doctors had to burn the tumor away. This is not the result we were hoping for. Now Roger has an even longer, harder journey ahead of him.

After he's healed up a bit from the surgery, he'll have to do radiation and chemotherapy. Again. Hopefully this will be the last time Roger has to fight the cancer(s) he's been fighting since the fall of 2007.
