a bouquet of roses

I'm sure I mentioned early in my pregnancy how sensitive I was to various scents. I had to pack away my amazing Cherry-Cola scented bath gel (Philosophy) because the smell was so overpowering to me. I had to change shampoos, I had to get rid of my usual stuff because it all made me miserable... so for the last probably 4 months, I have used Dial bar soap (so luxurious, I know) powder scented shave cream and Aussie shampoos...

However, I'm starting to get sensitive to these scents as well. I've switched my shaving cream over to an all-in-one product that's white tea scented- very pleasant. I've switched my shampoo/conditioner over to Herbal Essences "Drama Clean" pair, which is nice and leaves my hair really nice since I still don't want to shampoo every day. I was so stumped about soap, though, until I spotted an old favorite and decided it was just the thing I needed.

By Crabtree and Evelyn, this shower gel has a soft, pleasant scent. It's not sharp, it's not overpowering and it is so soothing. It may cost a little more than a bar of Dial soap, but I figure as long as it's not making me want to hang my head over the toilet as soon as I'm done using it, then it's worth the money.

Just think- in two months, I'm not going to care about my bath products anymore! That'll be nice. I'm sure I'll be too worried about what I'm putting on BBC to worry about what I'm using myself.
