I have since discovered that I enjoy aggressive forms of exercise. I know, I know, fencing wasn't really a good form of exercise, nor was it always extraordinarily aggressive. However, boxing? I love it. Zach's interested in getting back into martial arts and I've found a Mixed Martial Arts gym in Houston that I think will serve our purposes nicely.

They have four locations, one on Westheimer, which I think will be the best for us. They have private lessons, classes and everything under the sun. I can do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Zach can do Jeet Kun Do, we can move into Thai Boxing and traditional boxing. I'm guessing it'll be rather expensive, but I am willing to sacrifice movies, eating out, a bigger house, etc... to get myself into fighting shape. I only wish we were moving back sooner, the idea of getting into these sorts of things really just thrills me.
Besides, I've got Hawaii to work towards, and I think with their regime, I can whip myself in shape faster, and better, than I could with any other medium. And I would have fun doing it! Mixed Martial Arts, here I come!
