Syttende Mai

"Seventeenth of May,
Constitution Day,
Hooray, Hooray,
Hooray for Norway!"
I used to chant that every Seventeen of May of my elementary school life.

HAPPY SYTTENDE MAI!

My daddy's in Norway RIGHT THIS MINUTE-- I don't need to communicate how insanely jealous I am-- and so I hope to wish him especially a happy happy day.

AND I'D LIKE TO MAKE A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO THE HAAVIK FAMILY! I LOVE YOU ALL AND MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH! WE THINK OF YOU OFTEN!

The Haavik family says hi! WE MISS YOU TOO! It's been great having your father visit this last week. It's been a busy few days with the 17th May celebration, enjoying the beautiful Norwegian scenery and watching football (or soccer as you may call it) - your dad's practically an expert when it comes to the rules of the game now ;) We even managed to fetch up our old photos and videos to show him from our holiday together in Torquay back in the summer of 1994:P It's always great to hear how you're getting on, so thumbs up for the blog!
